#foodporn captures our love story with food. What is your country's top favorite foods? We analyzed 675 thousand posts from 322 thousand users on Instagram who have used #foodporn hashtag in the span of 6 Nov 2014 - 6 Apr 2015. Correcting for power-users (who post thousands of images), we found the foods most associated with #foodporn in 73 countries. In particular, for each country we subtract the probability a food is mentioned anywhere in the world from the probability it is mentioned in the country, resulting in most peculiar foods to be favored.
